2019-2020 Poland
Visit to Poland and an International Project Meeting
/ on-line mobility.
On November 23-27, 2020, the third meeting / mobility of students took place and, at the same time, the fourth project meeting - working of all partners participating in the Erasmus + program, the project "Maths through games. / Maths en jeux ".
As before, the participants were: France - the main coordinator, Belgium, Portugal, Slovenia, Italy, and we - Poland. This meeting had a very specific form - it was held on-line. Due to the very difficult epidemic situation across Europe, we were forced to complete all our online activities. It was a difficult undertaking as some countries had closed schools (Poland, Slovenia), while others worked under changed conditions (France, Belgium, Portugal, Italy). Nevertheless, we managed to establish common online working hours, during which 12 lessons were carried out, presenting our next project games, i.e. GEOMETRY and MEASUREMENT. Our lessons took place with a group of several volunteer students and were conducted by Ms Alina Martyniuk and Ms Małgorzata Haraburda with linguistic support - Ms Agnieszka Piórecka. The students who were present at the classes had the opportunity to observe their colleagues from other countries, even though it was only in a form of remote contact. Despite the lack of direct reception, the students liked this way of conducting the lessons very much, they were full of enthusiasm, impressions and comments.
Our school planned to host students and teachers from project countries in March 2020. but unfortunately due to the COVID-19 threat, this visit was canceled at the last minute. The guests would have spent a great week in our beautiful, new school, we also had planned sightseeing around Białystok (eg Tykocin), as well as a few hours of 'stay with our students' families. We were all very disappointed and decided to postpone the visit till November 2020. As we all know, this plan could not be implemented again, so the mobility was finally held on-line.
The purpose of our meeting was to conduct lessons with games, discuss the evaluation of activities for the previous year and determine all final activities necessary to close the project. Although it lasted over 3 years, we all felt sad that it was the end of our common adventure. I think that we got together, got to know one another and made friends while working on this project, which will result in the further contact, and maybe in the future, another joint venture.
ERASMUS + …. forever !!!
